This is a fairly recent (10 years since patented) engine design that improves upon all current internal combustion engine designs. What do the technically minded on here have to say? Has anyone been involved in any sort of research into them or had any experiences to do with this new design?

There's another new type that looks a lot better IMO. Can't remeber the name, but it splits the 4 stroke cycle over two machines. One compresses and the other bangs, each can be made optimally efficient for its part of the 4 stroke cycle, instead of the one non-optimal machine that performs two processes, that we have now.
