A&Q about 350Z
Q:
We have reached the stage in our mk2 Jetta 20v transplant where things are getting tricky.
We have a AGU code 1.8T and are using all the mk4 loom.
Need Help with choosing an intercooler (must be cheap) Also not sure what fuel pump to use as the mk4 one wont fit, and we are not sure how to wire it if we use a K-Jet or Digi.
Any help would be great, pics too if pos.

K-jet pump from a mk2 16v is perfect for the job.
cheap intercooler... alot of people have used a merc sprinter intercooler people seem to of had good results with them. not sure how much but they're definitely cheaper than
having one made.
i had mine made by allard cost was £350.

If you go with a k-jet pump, you'll need k-jet lines from under the car as well as the fittings on k-jet & digi pumps differ. Early MK2 8v K-Jet pumps are the same as 16v ones to help you with your search

The qpeng website uses the the sprinter intercooler but as ours is a track car we are using a mk2 diesel rad. Not much room left, the sprinter intercooler is huge.
The Jetta is a 16v btw.

Hi mate, met you at the Bristol meet the other day (I've got the Rallye), i had the engine (20vt in my Rallye in a MkII 16v before. You will be fine using the 16v pump and wont need to change anything there, the sprinter cooler is tight but it does fit with a couple of brackets made to hold it, and seems to pretty good for the price (mine cost me £50).
I'm guessing you live near Bristol so if you wanted i could come over and give you a few pointers. I'm in France till Friday, but i'll be around at the weekend.

i have heard the sprinter intercooler is a tight fit and from the merc dealers it goes new for £140, where did you get yours from slim... and would the intercooler fit the nk3 golf with the same engine replacement? cheers
