Hi,
my friends 16v mk2 has a heater problem, if you turn the heating on, as soon as the car gets warm it will suddenly blow out cold air.
im thinking that it is heater matrix, but not sure.
any ideas?

probably the heater valves up near the bulkhead....either bypass em of replace with a new set
you could bypass the valve with copper pipe to confirm thats the fault before spending ££

how much are the valves roughly? are they easy to change?
i'll check it with a pipe first
