my 1986 golf gti 8v is putting out 108.9 bhp at 5337 rpm is this a prity respectible figure for a 8v with a scorpion system k&n panel filter and driled air box and a piper 285 cam

130k fsh though well looked after i think it has been re-built though engine v fit pulls like a train

Peak power seems a bit low down the RPM range for that spec of cam imo. Could just be that your head is the bottle neck now though. Good power output though.
