Will a mk3 8v GTi cam cover fit on a mk2 8v GTi cylinder head?
Well I know it will as I've just tried but not with a gasket in there and I'm not sure if it will seal properly at the timing belt end of the head where the cover has a semi circle cut out to go over the end cap. Got a feeling the radius of the end cap may be fractionally different. Anyone ever done it?
Got loads of mk3 bits and just the mk2 head to go on my block. If this is a no go anyone got a mk2 8v cam cover they dont want!!
