VR6 OR GTi 16V

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

i had a couple races with a 97 VR6 the other night. in 1st he pulled about 2 car lengths (maybe i just dont know how to launch mine too well) but after that there was nothing in it, right upto insane speeds.
his sounded one hell of a lot nicer and drank twice as much
performance wise there is not a lot in it, i think it depends on how much you want the v6 noise
A:

Start with a Mk2 shell... then decide which engine you want
My 2.0 16v Mk2 averages 35 mpg, doing 85ish on Motorway trips, and being driven briskly along B roads, although not red-lined in every gear (there's no need).

I also faced the same dilemma!
Ended up going for the valver though and havn't regretted it for a second, i also get over 300 miles to a tank (only just mind!)
Any pics of it mike? Enjoy :D
A:

not yet working on it my m8s borrowed my camera so soon as i get it back ill be up, it basic at the mo working on getting some new wheels at he mo as it go the standard bbs ones from new and there in a right state

If fuel's a serious consideration then buy a 1litre polo.
A VR6 is a lot more economical on the motorway than a 1.0 litre polo, the polo is doing 5,000 RPM at 80!
