A&Q about 350Z
Q:
hi guys...i need to replace the anti-freeze in my golf but i dont know how much i need...ive been told to do a 50-50 mix but i only have 1L of antifreeze...how much water would i need?
thanks (and sorry for the daft question)
A:
do you use the G12+ stuff?
50/50 with a litre of antifreeze would need a litre of water
A:
when you say G12 do you mean VW antifreeze??? if so then no its the halfrauds advanced a/f...so should i use it 1:2 (1L anti-freeze and 2 litres of water??) i dont know how much i am supposed to use with VW cars :o
A:
G12 is Volkswagens own, Part number G012A8FM1, £5.85+vat off the top of my head.
A:
50/50 mix is what I run, pour half of the bottle into another container, and top it up with water. Pour that in your car, then pour the other half back in the car and top up with water again, then pour that in. Whatevers left shove in your boot, hey presto pre-mixed emergency top-up coolant

nice one mate...cheers
A:
cant go wrong with topping up with straight antifreeze
A:
Always use VW's G12+
50/50 is about the strongest mix you should be running in this country, 30% G12+ will give better cooling.
A:
Any phospate free antifreeze ( which 99% of them are) will be fine.
As long as you don't have pink antifreeze in, then use Halfords, VW (they only sell G12+ now, which mixes with anything), Comma, whatever you want.
