just got my first mk2 16v and plan an oil change, not sure when it was done last !!
engine done 120k has anyone got suggestions as to the best or recomended oil to use. thanks in advance.

synta silver oil and a vw filter

thanks for that is that a synthetic oil, semi or what ?

Mobil 1 but flush the engine with some mineral oil first such as castrol GTX (leave in for around 100miles then change)
