i have an air/fuel guage that i whant to fit to my mk1 when the 9a is fitted. there is already a lambda sensor fitted for the ecu but can i use the same signal for the meter or do i have to fit the second sensor??

Pairing stuff up on a single sensor is never a good idea really, will only lead to problems.You'd be better fitting a seperate one for the gauge.

The Digi-1 ECU as used with G60 engines doesn't like the signal to be shared.
Quite a few people that have fitted A/F gauges with signal taken from the existing lambda have had terrible running issues - a second, seperate lambda removed these issues.
