A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I believe my girlfriend's rear wheel bearings are shot. The passenger side more than the driver, but I'd like to knock them both out while im back there. I also have new rotors (disc brakes) for the rear I'd like to put on which should make this easier (no need to press out old ones).
My question is : What parts do I need for the bearing replacement if all i have is the empty rotor. I know they need to be pressed in, but theres the inner and outer bearing; are there any seals/washers/etc that I need to purchase? Or is it just the inner and outer get pressed in and i put it back on the car?
The car is a 1998 GTI VR6. (MkIII AAA).
Thanks!

You should get everything you need in the bearing kit. It's usually the inner and outer race, inner and outer bearings, rear seal and a sachet of grease. You don't need to press them in, you can use a heavy object and a suitable drift. I use an old race with a slot cut in so it comes back out easily.

As above, only use genuine SKF bearings...
You have new discs? - I take it you also have new pads, i would also but new ABS cages too and new allen key bolts for the carriers.
Bearings can be pressed in easily with a socket but you will need the windback tool for the calipers...
