Hi guys/girls.
Just joined the forum so be gentle.
I have recently bought a 'P' plate Golf GTi 2.0 8v and am having a small problem with it.
Basicly, sometimes when i'm slowing for a corner and put the clutch in the revs drop right down and the engine stalls. Not much fun you can imagine when you're trying to go round a corner and your power steering goes.
It's probably something really simple to fix, and i'm sure someone on here will have the answer.

Had the same problem with mk4 polo, had the throttle body cleaned up and its fine now.

or the ecu power relay, or the crank sensor! its a common fault.

Add to that list the fuel pump relay!

And here's me thinking it would be something simple.
Thanks for the input, at least now when I take it to the mechanic I'll seem like I know what I'm talking about.

best take it to someone who knows vw's and has the diagnostic stuff
