A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Can anyone give me any tips on fitting a clutch to a MK2 golf gti as mine has given up the ghost
A:
think the easyest thing would be for you to buy a haynes manual.
Unless anyones prepared to transcripted it stage for stage!
Either way, no difficult if you set your mind to it!

I`ve got one just wondering if anyone has any tips to help out and make it easier
A:
have a jack supporting the sump when your taking of all the mounts, including one that bolts through the box by the diff (13mm's??)
lower engine, pull box off & turn rear 45' up & lower the engine slightly to drop box
have someone help, pref from above!!
how's that for a short list of tips
A:
pay some other mug to do it...it really is a bugger to do

TIPS:
1. DO NOT overtighten the 9 bolts going through the flywheel - use a torque wrench to tighten them - they are weak bolts and can twist if overtightened andcan then snap under high load!
2. Grease the G'Box Input Shaft (Copper Grease), I forgot to do this when i changed my clutch the other week!
3. Put a manually adjusting clutch cable in there while your at it!
4. Get a mate to give you a hand - i did mine on my own the other week and took me twice as long + holding box on with one arm and putting a bolt in can be a bit err........'Tricky'

I`ve booked it in at a garage ,i decided i couldn`t be bothered with the hassle of fitting it i`ll let some other mug do it .
Thanks for the tips anyway
