hi,
i have a powerflow full exhaust system fitted to my mk2 golf (came with the car when i bourght it) and all was good when i first got the car really liked the sound of it, but now im not into that kind of thing so i am looking to replace with a standard exhaust so its nice and quiet. more suitable for a daily driver sitting in traffic all the time
just wondering if i would be able to just replace the backbox for a gti one. would this make it sound quiet(ish) or would i need the centre box as well
i accurately measured the circumference where the backbox is clamped on with a bit of string and it is about 14cm
will an 8v gti backbox fit straight onto it.

hey bro hozit.....you will need a silencer box in the middle,,,,i love my sound that i get on my MK2 sounds like the DON is coming on.....

damn, that means cutting the powerflow after the cat. effort
what will it sound like with just the backbox?. (half tractor, half old school mini)
any other suggestions
