got a 4 branch and full stainless system ready to go on my 91 8v gti-just after a few opinions on 4 branchs usability? anyone!!!?

Not quite sure how you mean 'useability'. It will definately be a bit louder with the full system but shouldn't affect the idle like a lumpy cam (innit...lol) would.
It should also rev a bit more freely.

my 4 branch made mine louder not to loud though. it made a cool raspy noise aswel want one for my abf conversion now

Will sound raspy to start with, but once it has been heated up over a 1000 miles or so will quieten down a bit.
A major way to enhance engine performace is to maximise breathability, this is with more air in, more air out. The manifold couple with a stainless exhaust will do the more air out bit, which normally adds about 10bhp if the right amount of air is going into the engine.
You may lose 2-3mpg as a result. More air=more petrol.
I got one on mine and i like it.
