Hi All,
I've just bought a lovely mk2 GTi 8v but it hasn't got an immobiliser or alarm (currently just a STOPLOCK in fact)...
Does anyone know a fitter with a good rep that doesn't charge the earth?
Also what alarm would you recommend? It won't save me anything on my insurance (I've checked), it's for my own peace of mind. Think i want a dual channel immobiliser with alarm that works with the central locking... but i'm open to suggestions

I'm just north of Bolton, I've actually been recommended a guy called mudge that works in the area.
He's offered to fit me a good quality Scorpion non thatcham alarm/immobiliser system for £160 which I reckon is alright....
Any thoughts?
