Mk4 Cabrilet Drivers Lock

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

i have a mk4 cabriolet and the drivers side locks has broken, i put the key and it was getting very stiff, then one day it would not lock, so i forced it to a point and something broke, and now i cant do nothing with it as it does not open the door
what do i need to do now, the central locking is still working from inside and also the passenger side is opening the car,
i was thinking about just getting an alarm that opens and closes the doors but depending on the lock i would like to get it fixed, any ideas on cost or what i wrong with it, can it be repaired
thanks

Do they do a mk4 cab?

Sarah, It's normally known as Mk3.5 - has an MK4 front but Mk3ish rear
I'd try removing the door lock/handle and having a look first, it may be something simple has become detached (possibly the rod that locks/unlocks the door) if it's buggered try GSF or ECP for a replacement, shouldnt be too dear
