I own a mk4 gti 20valve turbo on a 1999 and its factory fit alarm seems to have a fault in the way that when you arm the alarm the turn signals dont flash but the alarm arms and gose off for no apparent reason then when you disarm the turn signals flash please can any one help with some ideas of what it is/at the moment in dubble lock to disable all systems ....
make me happy dont like my vdub to be ill

I think one off the door light switchs in the lock is not working.Is the interier light an all the time and wont go off when you start the car?

dose any one know what alarm system the mk 4 golf has got fitted (ive been told its a lazerline system that is fitted from factory) as the falt has started again but this time it all flashs but alarm keeps going off but strangely this my go of and sounds for a while or just a short time i am thinking off getting a tode fitted...but if can sort the original i would prefer that.. me stressed

sometimes replacing the radio for an aftermarket one can cause the alarm to be stupid.
your car battery might be on its way out to
if it is a laserline well most alarms will sence a drop in voltage this could be a door/boot/bonet pin switch not working proper, the interior light delay switch or even a blown bulb
