hey dudes
i got a 1985 mk2 golf
currently has quarter light glass
front drivers window split in two
but have been pondering bout changing for single glass, cos i wana install electric windows...
what do you all think???
its a 3door.
or will the electric windows fit on to a quarterlight window setup???

you have to change doors to use the big glass
you can get elec windows for the smaller glass...not sure if the mech is interchangable

mechs for quarterlight & non-quarterlight are different, but 3 & 5 door front mechs are the same.

you can fit big window e/w into a small window golf and vice versa... i have done.
usually a few sets on ebay..
