Rs4 Alloy & Lowering Question

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I've just bought 4 19 inch RS4 alloys without tryes i intend to put them on my MK 4 Golf GTI 2.0. Do i need to lower my car to if so how much by, also what size tyres do i use. i dont want the tyres to be too thin or too thick, plus i dont want the gap between the wheel and the wheel arch to look silly. I'd appriciate your help guy's
A:

You dont 'need' to lower the car unless you want to!?!?!?!?
The tyre size will prob be 235/35/19s.
When you sau you dont want the gap silly, you mean? too small? too big?
The gap is inherently big - you'll prob be aiming to close the gap up if anything, e.g. lowering the car.

Thanks alot for that advice mate i'll go with that tyre size now, i'm also considering putting a straight through exhuast on it. I dont want one of those BIG ones like all those foolish boy racers put on there cars, i just want a straight through one with two pipes at the end that does'nt sound to loud, any idea's on which make i should choose and were to get one
A:

Milteks not a bad bet, nor is Jetex
You might find straight through burdenful on the ears though!
