A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Basically, im a student so i should be saving but these wheels are tempting for my car. I have a white MK3 and i have seen some keskin KT1s - 9J x 16" with tyres in mint condition. When i lower the car i will get coilovers, i need to know whether the wheels will rub on my arches, and if i will REALLY REALLY need to get archwork done. Also, im getting the wheels for £500 with tyres, good deal?

hey mate im in exactly the same situ bein a student an all. but this may help. if your gettin 9j wheels you will need arch work as there jus to wide. look phat tho.
Some people run 7.5" width at front and 9" at the rears, that gives an awesome look, but allows some practicality at the fronts which still need to turn.
I think the wheels you hav in mind are a et 15 and as the standard et on the mk3 is around 38-42mm, the et of 15 or 30 is a little less and means you'd probably get rubbing in the inner arch. To resove this you'd need spacers to make up the difference in et.
As for tyre sizes, are you going for a stretched look? The max width that you can comfortably use on the mk3 is 215mm, 215/35/16, I think.
For stretched look, you could also get 205/40/16, or 195/45/16s... but you'd have to find a tyre fitter willing to stretch the tyre on to the alloy.
It'd be worth while checking with someone else who has actually done wide wheels on their mk3, I'm only going on what I've learnt and my experience with my various wheels I've fitted to my mk3, ive never done wide wheels; but want to so if any one can confirm this it'd be great.
hope i helped man. what hav you done on her so far?
