I was just thinking are the frames on the G60 recaros the same as the rs turbo recaros found in the fiesta and escort??????????
The reason i ask is cause my drivers seat is twisted so i was going to do a full swap with the frames.
is it a good idea or is it not poss any help would be good thanks Lee

Just a brief FAQ for anyone fitting Recaro seats to Mk1 / 2 Golfs.
Part numbers for the Recaro subframes are:
Driver's seat (RHD): 85.14.17
Passenger subframe (RHD)- 85.14.27
Parts catalogue illustrated here - see page 4
These subframes accept most seats from the Recaro aftermarket seat catalogue.
Note that Ford Recaro seats have a different subframe, but can be adapted to suit.
