i have a MK3 98 valver
will this fit as it says it does on the ebay link but i have only ever seen them for the VR6 model

Do you have air con/climate control in your car, if so then I don't think it will fit, but might be wrong. Otherwise, like my old 1.4 golf mk3 there was a load of space underneath the main glove box and would easily accomodate the lower glove box.

My highline vr has got a lower glovebox, and has aircon.

Ive got a 1995 M reg GTI and have removed the lower tray as it was useless and replaced it with a lower glovebox and it bolted straight in with no problems. It now means ive got two gloveboxes,which proves useful to carry all the the 'vital' crap I seem to have accumulated.
