A&Q about 350Z
Q:
My Mk2 Jetta is an 89 small bumper car but 90 spec. It doesnt have the plastic trims on the wheel arches. The front wings need replaced and also the rear passenger door. I have been looking out for good secondhand ones. The paint code is LA5Z which is Strato Blue. It is not very common.
I have the chance of getting wings and the door from a H reg big bumper car. Problem is it has the plastic wheel arch trims. Can this be easily removed? Are they glued on or riveted? I can obviously fit the wings as is but will it match MY door plastic trim and is it easy to put the trims on MY rear arches?
I want it all to match but I am not exactly sure what to keep or remove! Ideally I don't want the plastic arch trim.

Hi, it should be riveted on m8 so quite easy to remove but you can never tell what state the paintwork will be in under the trim there might be a hole in the wing too where the rubbing strip clips in off the arch, if you need to keep it on I've fitted the 90 spec rear arches and side sills to my golf no prob was quite easy.

Cheers! Turned out the car was LA5T and so was the wrong colour! Aaarrgghh!!!
Where are the plastic trims riveted? Through the actual arch of the wing or under the lip of the arch?

Colour matching i've had that problem, i'm on the lookout for two Alpine White wings, Yep the arch trim is rivited along the lip so if you remove it you should'nt really see it.
