What's the best anti-mist for inside the window

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

As the weather is ***** at the moment and i aint got a garage for a while, i really need to get something to stop the front windscreen (inside) misting up in the mornings, anyone used any good products?
Cheers

Hi Kev, are you looking for some chemical/liquid product to apply to the glass?
My personal method is to whack heating/fan onto full for a couple of mins, wipers on intermitant and use one of these:

Yep, i use that now, but for some reason the vent under the screen on the drivers side does not seem to work, i don't understand it, the rest blow fine, but there must be a blockage - but i aint going to take the dash off :)
I was looking for some kind of Rain X product - anti-fog! I may just get this, as i swear by rain x on the oustside!
Thanks
A:

do an all clear anti-fog for use on the insides of glass
Neil.

The Rain-X anti-misting stuff is just basically isopropyl alcohol but packaged up and sold at a premium. You could either just buy a bottle of the alcohol or someanti-septic wipes (e.g. Azo Wipes) which contain it. One thing I found with Rain-X anti-mist is that when the car is in anyway damp inside or carrying a lot of passengers (i.e. excess moisture in the air) the layer of Rain-X on the windscreen quickly saturates giving a very shimmery wet appearance.

quite easy to find out if its working or not, you should be able to get a hand up to the heater matrix and feel if the pipe is connected on the right handside, check for leaks etc.
you can use rain x on the inside as well, works well for anti mist/fogging on the inside of cars.

How about a potato cut in half and smeared on the inside of the window?
Sounds silly i know, but ive been told the starch is good for demisting...
A:

Cheers all!
Jon p - i changes the matrix myself last year and i could not see any signs of a blockage or anything disconnected! - should the drivers vent (the one next to the widscreen) be as powerfull as the passenger one?

Heard that one before except it was for outside if wipers packed in.Think I will give it a miss personally.
I think a good clean window and a fan & heater which works well is the best solution.

Well rainx have a promotion on at the moment, so i got the rainx foam glass cleaner, rainx for the out side and the cleaning/antimist wipes for the windows! - Works wonders, no more mist inside the windows, really does work! So much that the missus has nicked the wipes and has done all our mirrors, shower doors and windows on the house LoL
A:

this will sound silly, but trust me!! try any shaving foam \ gel, use very sparingly!!!
if ya dont believe me, try it on ur bathroom mirror and try ur hardest to get it steamed up!!! best discovery ever!!!!!!!!

That method definitely works, but it doesnt last long enough.

A:

or whack your air con on full with recirc

cold air can work just as well as hot to clear your windscreen
