Im pretty sure there not exactly legal, but alot of people run them and get away with it.
When i get some spare pennies ill have a set.

No pretty sure they are not legal but i know people who have been driving in front of police cars with them on and they didnt get pulled over.
Suppose really its down to the officers discretion

Out of interest.... Ive got a Jacobs VW front number plate holder, and would like a matching one for the rear. Any idea of anybody selling the "jacobs VW" ones?

i got some man aint been stopped, but i have heard people gettin a £30 fine for them tho they usually get cautioned first...
ive even ran through a couple of mobile cameras the 'D' f**ks there system up and you dont get issued with the fine- DO NOT ABUSE THIS THOUGH ITS ONLY WORKED A COUPLE OF TIMES!! though i have never recieved one

its the size and font of the type face thats wrong. Personally I ran one on the front of mine for ages without a problem, BUT this is due to luck!
Local bobby said "I dont care and a lot of other officers have got more important things to do. If you are being stuped and doing somthing wrong its more ammunition that they can use when they pull you." If you keep the origional in the car and say opps I forgot it was on. Will change it now, youd be unlucky to get done!
