The RA's on my totally standard Tornado red H plate GTI need a refurb.
Two options.
1) silver as per standard.
2) polished rim, spokes black
I think 2) would look cool on a proper red GTI
Anyone done this before, got any pics?
Should i leave them as standard?

silver. i dont think RA's suit black/silver combo in the same way RM's do. the silver lip is too small looking on the RA's
find a pic of black/silver RA's and compare it with black(gunmetal grey)/silver RM's

want the look but ain't got the cash for the split rims.....

I'd have to say have them done in Silver. I see a set of RA's at a show where they had been done in silver with a polished lip. Looked very nice

You could get them powder coated in sparkly silver which is much brighter than normal silver if your after a bit of bling. Would be cheaper than polishing also. DarrynK had his RM's centres done in sparkly silver and they look excellent.

think i seen a picture on here recently of someone who done it. Sparkly silver centres/ spokey bits and then diamond cut rim, which needs to be done in the refurb anyways.
can't find the post now tho but whoever did it did a good job - anyone any ideas where?

They were done in Carnwath which is approx 330 miles from Cambridge!
