right, not having a gd time with my valver at the moment.
selecting gears, particularily 1st 3rd n 5th is very difficult. goes up half way then stops, takes a few more goes and a little extra push to get into gear. whats weird is that all this started suddenly, gearbox was running perfect!
what can it be!!!

Just a guess but see if you can re-adjust the cables, something that you can do yourself and is free. I think that if the cables are adjusted properly, you should be able to just push the gearstick into 3rd with next to no resistance at all, but im sure there are some threads in here about setting it up (thats what i had to do with mine when i put the cable change box in my car)
Also, see if you can check your gearbox oil level, or give it a change while your there. Should be in the book of lies or in a post on here somewhere
