A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I'm looking at using a heavy duty clutch with an uprated pressure plate for my Mk2 20v Turbo as I'm planning top do some 1/4 mile action. The pressure plate has approximately 50% more clamping pressure.
My question is are the release arms able to cope with exteme clutches? I have heard stories of them bending. Does anyone make an uprated arm?
A:
i've never heard of them bending. been running an uprated helix clutch (good for 400lbs.ft) for ages with no problems.

Dito I have an uprated helix four paddle in the vr6t and a left leg like Arne, make sure you fit a new release bearing as well as the clutch.

How do you find it, have you done many miles with it? Is it very harsh? I had an AP 4 paddle in an RS Turbo (don't worry I'm VW only now) and it was very grabby, made a racket and ate the flywheel away!
What flywheel you running by the way?
Same Q's to PHATVR6
A:
Yes I have covered over 4K with it fitted and it is ok in traffic as long as you engage it quickly and don't ride it ...
IIRC mine has organic material in the friction pads, you get an option when they make it for you.
A:
mine was also the organic plate friction disc
I've now change to a 4 puck paddle clutch, they appear to be sintered?
