looking to source a new manifold,
one, as mine is from an audi and not useable in my project
two, would like to run a garrett turbo instead of the KKK turbos (my K turbo is broken and i have access to some garrett applications)
so what do i need to do? will a std manifold be able to run a garrett for me or do i need to look to have one made?

Get one fabricated to T3 or T25/28 flange (i dont know what you have) or get a cast hiflow one fron ATP turbo US side. Unless there is a euro supplier who knows more.

most of the garretts have a similar flange layout/pattern? when i know the turbo model i'll let you know.
