Q:
i want to service my own g60 charger but dont know where to get the bearings and oil seals from, VW sed they dont do them. also anyone know anywhere i can get door seals for a corrado?
A:
ebay.de for a service kit...make sure you do some research as there is cheap n nasty seals n strips and pukka ones.......all sellers claim theirs is best
i was gona rebuild mine...got the kit at kompressorkananda, but once i got it apart i didnt fancy it , so i got g werks to build it up , and for the little extra it cost it was worth it if you ask me ...one little slip up and its a £1k paper wieght
things to look for in a kit...high speed metal cage bearings, gotez seals and klubber grease....i "think" you want beige strips , but best do some research first
A:

A:
easygeezer.com do the charger rebuild kits and give you a step by step guid on the rebuild if that helps, done mine from that it wasnt to hard a job.
A:
u sure that website actually exists?! cant find easygeezer.com
A:
Just out of curiosity, how much are you lookin at for a supercharger service? Always fancied a g60 but put off by this extra cost
A:
supercharger needs servicing approx every 40k and most places seem to charge around £400 to service the charger. A refurbed charger can be got hold of for about £700 I think.
A:
this seem ok to anyone?
A:
find out what bearings and seals they are
A:
i was looking at that one earlier. dont think theres a diffuser in there tho
A:
what do u mean by diffuser......that is a complete kit, no mention of what brands the parts are
A:
just sent them the questoin, its either those, some place in germany for 300 euros or the local bearing shop....
