quick question regarding the 1.8t engines with VVT. was just wondering if any aftermarket ECU's have the facilities to run this or is it not wired in when using aftermarket ECU's.
any info appreciated.

I've always been told that the vvt won't see you much in the way of gains...but in the answer to your question yes there are a few around...I think Motec do for a start.

The VVT doesn't give huge gains but it ensures that your emissions stay low at tickover (think that's what it was primarily used for).
motec definitely supports it, works on mine
someone said that DTA can run it (i'd check with someone like vince at stealth though).

i'd check though as i only heard this through word of mouth from someone who was running DTA but they personally didn't have a VVT engine iirc
