I'm looking to go for proper power on my 20v Turbo (AGU). I know some people are using IHI turbos off Imprezas. My question is which model of Impreza is the one to get one off? I have heard the reason people do this is it can be a more cost effective that buying a new GT28RS etc.
Also, what manifold needs to be used to run this turbo?

you'll need a jabba manifold which comes in at around the £500 mark.
iirc AET can also supply you with a very similar manifold.

vf34 from the STi, they use it because it spools up 500rpm lower down than an equivalent Garrett.
£450 new now.
you can use a Jabba or have a custom made for similar money, good luck trying to get a Jabba mani without the full kit being fitted by them

At what RPM are they getting full boost on a 20v Turbo then?

would have though it depends entirely on your set up, cams, exhaust, intercooler intake etc.
anywhere fro 3500-4500. (mine isn't on the car yet )
