Turbo on 2.0 8v AGG engine

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Anyone on forum who tried this ? I tried the search engine but I didn't find any turbo project related to this specific engine. If some did this setup, how complicated is it ? Are there any donors (other VW cars from which I can use parts) for this project ?
Can I use a MK3 TDI (110 HP) variable turbo charger and intake manifold ?
A link or a detailed part list for this setup would be great !
A:

The variable vain turbo charger won't be any use on a petrol forced induction engine. The exhaust gas temperature will be too hot for it. That's why, as the moment, they are only fitted to diesels with lower exhaust gas temps.
VWVortex.com might be worth a look. They do a lot of 2.0 8v turbo conversions, but I'm not sure what engine code they have over there.
Good luck.

I checked vwvortex but like you said, their engines are much more different than european versions. Different intake/exhaust manifolds, different fuel injection system etc.

I mentioned AGG engine because that engine is currently and originaly in my car and I would like to do turbo setup on it. If there is no diference between other 2.0 8V 115 HP engines and my 2.0 8V AGG, then I'm interested in your advice and experiences

Be worn'ed this is a very very very quick car set up, to the point that my chassie was twisting with the power this engine was putting out ,and can wheel spin 1,2,3,4 gears untill slipping the clutch at just a mer 10 psi. The best thing you can do is build this beast properly with everything made for a petrol turbo.
You see as mention before diesels turbos are not meant to work beyond a certain rpm's remember they only rev between 0-4,500, a petrol will rev to 7k and more so the turbos are built different, if you was to use the turbo of a diesel you will get everything down low but when you get the revs up it will not produce the flow a petrol engine needs thus causing damage to the turbo due to excess heat.
The best thing to do is get a proper 8v turbo cast manifold, t3 turbo from ebay, or from a ford RS turbo in fact i have seen kits on ebay selling pretty cheap that can just bolt on , then get yourself a managment system it can be G60 very easy to install or megasquirt very good kit
